MAINS SUPER 50
UPSC CSE 2027 — 120-Day Mains Writing & Note-Making Challenge
23 September 2026 – 26 January 2027
After 120 days, our promise is NOT that you will have written hundreds of answers.
Our goal is that when UPSC gives you a completely new question, you should know:
WHAT TO THINK
WHAT TO WRITE
HOW TO STRUCTURE IT
HOW TO SUBSTANTIATE IT
AND HOW TO FINISH IT WITHIN TIME.
That's what Mains Ready actually means.
The Biggest Transformation
At the beginning of the programme, you may ask:
“Sir, iska answer kya hoga?”
After some practice:
“Sir, maine 5 dimensions brainstorm kiye hain. Are these correct?”
Later:
“Sir, I have written the answer. Please evaluate it.”
Our final goal is to reach a stage where you can say:
“Sir, give me the question. I know how to approach it.”
The objective of mentorship is therefore not to make you permanently dependent on us.
It is to gradually make you LESS dependent on us.

1. Daily Answer Writing
Students will receive 4 Mains questions per day based on the themes being covered.
But writing more answers is not automatically better.
You will gradually be trained in:
Question Demand → Brainstorming → Prioritisation → Structure → Writing → Review
The purpose of daily writing is to build answer-writing muscle memory.
Eventually, Introduction–Body–Conclusion, dimensions, word limit and presentation should stop feeling unnatural.
2. One-Pager Note Making
You will simultaneously build Mains-ready One-Pager Notes for important themes.
We will help you understand:
What should I note?
What should I leave?
How much is enough?
Which PYQs are connected to this topic?
Which data/examples should I remember?
How can the same notes produce multiple answers?
3. Live Brainstorming Sessions
This is one of the core pillars of Mains Super 50.
Before telling you what to write, we will train you to think.
You will learn to look at a question through multiple relevant dimensions:
Constitutional | Political | Economic | Social | Administrative | Ethical | Environmental | Technological | International
4. Test Discussion
Writing the test is only half the exercise.
During Test Discussions, we will analyse:
What exactly was the question asking?
What dimensions should have been considered?
Where did students deviate?
Which points were generic?
What could have been substantiated?
How could the structure improve?
What would a better approach look like?
6. Toppers' Copy Analysis
We will also analyse selected copies and answer-writing approaches of successful candidates.
But the purpose is not to blindly copy a topper's style.
Instead, we will ask:
Why did this structure work?
How was the question demand addressed?
How were examples incorporated?
How much content was actually written?
How were diagrams/headings used?
What can you realistically adopt?
Learn the principle. Develop your own writing style.
